This is a request for :icondaly-xd: who won the :iconcatcatalogue: competition. I adored her picture of her cat Suzie so much so decided to draw it for her.

It took about three hours maybe, with staedtler black pen on manga paper :D

This is adorable :)

My advise would be to add more explicit shading to the kitty's face. Even if it doesn't seem to have much shadow in the photo you should compensate since you are doing this in black and white and the 3D part get's lost in translation. It took me a bit to figure out what it was because the face didn't pop out.

Lines closer together or cross-hatching works too. You can try out different things and see what you like :)
